Three years ago my husband Tim and I bought what we considered to be our dream home which is located on a small acreage in central Iowa. One of the things we loved about our property was that there were not any plantings in the yard, which allowed us to to build the gardens of our dreams from scratch. Our yard and gardens are still a work in progress but we have accomplished quite a bit in the last few years. Here are a few pictures of how our yard is looking this summer.
Our front yard plantings and our awesome garden art sculpture Lunar Bloom by local artist James Bearden.
